I bit my lip last week and a huge honking canker sore has grown in its place. Subsequently, I've been involuntarily talking out of only one side of my mouth. As much as I try to pretend everything is fine, the pain freezes one side of my face.

Don't worry, friends. I'm not displaying signs of imminent stroke, as one colleague admitted to secretly wondering today. And no, I don't normally talk out of only one side of my mouth (I hope). I see the silent wonder in your eyes. Thank you all for your concerns. I will survive.
